POWW Faves by Ali

Happy Saturday!  At the time this is posting, Ali is just taking off, back home to California, and I am probably on the runway in a heaping, sobbing mess, calling her name....
I am pulling on my big girl panties.  Sigh.  Why does California have to be SO far from Maryland???  WHY?!?!?
Anyhow, before she left, I couldn't hold it together enough to even get the faves together, so I asked her to step in.  She will be sharing her faves in just a minute, but first I wanted to share a few photos from our lunch out with Megan from Miss Madison's Charmed Life.  It was so great to meet her in person- just as I thought she would be, she was adorable, funny, full of personality!  We had a fabulous lunch at Lunchbox in Frederick.  Emmy and Madi became fast friends and fed the ducks together.  Here are the girls bonding while people watching....

The three bloggers, Megan, me, Ali (and some dude in the back who also likes lunchbox).

And I asked Megan to get a shot of me and Ali since I didn't yet have one!

It was so fun to meet Megan!  And Madi is so adorable  and sweet!  She had to run and take a nap though, so I had to hide the bread for the ducks from her as I told her it was all gone and time to go.... Do you spy the bread behind my back?

Anyhow, here is Ali with this week's faves!

Hi everyone!! I am so excited to be guest "favoriting" for Cassie today. I have spent the week in her beautiful home with her sweet family and I have been having a blast!!!

Ok, let's get to my POWW faves :)
I love this awesome aqua and white tea tray from Home Made. Living by the beach, a piece like this would really come in handy to corral all of our........beach stuff. Ha ha. I couldn't think of a clever way to say that.

I also love the bright POP of Orange and all of the fun details on this pretty table from the Salvage Collection. I've been in an orange mood lately, yet I have nothing Orange in my house. Maybe I should work on changing that ;)

Carmel at Our Fifth House is a creative genius. Her son's Union Jack pegboard headboard is absolutely amazing! I love the size of it, and the graphic punch of the flag is pure awesomeness. Well done, Carmel!

The stunning white sideboard from Town and Prairie has me drooling. I looooove all of those girly details and that wood top is perfection!

Jessica at Paint in my Hair hit the nail on the head with this gorgeous gray French dresser. The gold hardware looks beautiful against the smooth dark gray finish. Love it!

Korrie at Red Hen Home blew me away with this massive and beautiful home office desk. The map in the background is icing on the cake :)

This Verdigris dresser from A bit O'Whimsy has such a unique and beautiful finish on it! WOW! Sooo pretty! I've never seen anything like it and I think it's gorgeous :)

Last but certainly not least, I am loving this trio of tables from Dear Emmeline. I am currently obsessed with vintage fabric and the soft white distressed finished makes for a perfect pairing.

Thanks SO much Cassie for letting me pick my faves this week. POWW is always full of so many inspirational and beautiful furniture projects. Awesome!

Glad you two had a great week together and lunch with a third blogging friend sounds fun too! Don't cry Cassie, soon it will be Haven time and you will see some more great friends! Maybe we can start a fund for you and Ali to fly back and forth every month. The last table is my favorite feature this week, love the fabric! Although they are all stunning, that gray dresser is a knockout too!

So fun that Ali picked the POWW faves! I can definitely sympathize with being far away from a friend. I hope you didn't create too much of a scene in the airport. :)
