Thanksgiving-Ready Mantle

Now that I have this mantle, I am having so much fun decorating it!  And Chris has not mounted the TV yet, so for now I get to play and decorate as I wish.  Here is what it is looking like now in the living room and on the mantle....

I added a mirror I had on hand in the garage, left my white glittered pumpkins up but put them on the candlesticks, and added a fun little white swam from Ali (The cute lil owl is form her, too!).  I already had the pom pom garland which I ordered from Ali's Shop.  Then Andi mentioned she would like to buy my Paris Gray chairs and I offered her a trade for a new Thanksgiving banner, and some acorns!  So the silver sequin acorns and the banner made by Andi are on the mantle as well.  She sells the acorns in her awesome shop!  They are too cute and so sparkly!  I also picked up some gourds from the grocery store and filled some milk glass and set them on the coffee tables.

Chris mentioned last night he wants to go to Best Buy to check out TV's.  For now I will enjoy my mirror.  Sigh.

Looks great. I went with a mostly neutral color scheme this year too. One more touch to finish up. I still adore those acorns.

Love it! The mirror looks great, maybe you can hide the TV with it when you are not watching it. ;)
If your hubby is like mine bring something to read. We were in Best Buy for two hours when we went TV shopping! The poor TV guy I think was ready to cry from all the questions that my hubby threw at him. I just point and go "that one is pretty". :) Good thing for video game demos. :)

Tell him he can look, but he DEFINITELY shouldn't buy until Black Friday (or Cyber Monday)! That should give you a few more weeks ;-)

It is beautiful, Cassie! Does your husband really need a tv??? We have a very similar mirror. It was originally in the powder room when we moved in, but I'd like to use it in our guest bath eventually.

So pretty! I know how you feel. Our tv is above our living room mantel. That's why I brought in the one we found in the barn and put it in the dining room - so I can decorate! I still manage to decorate around the tv too. ;)

Your mantel looks so pretty and feels peaceful - perfect for Thanksgiving!

Beautiful mantle & mirror! Too bad you can't have both the mirror & TV. We have an odd angled wall with a mantle-less fireplace, so the TV goes on a stand, and the angled wall gets the mirror.
